Christmas Time!

It's been a while since I've been here, but recently several friends of mine have been discussing their blogs - which reminded me that I had this here and I ought to come back and update!

Christmas is fast approaching the Lochiatto household and Jayden is very excited this year. He is working so hard to make Santa proud because all he wants for Christmas is a BIG motorcycle with a BIG helmet so he can go REALLY fast! He has helped me make a lot of cookies and he helped his Daddy hang the lights outside so that Santa can find us! And he is always rearranging the tree to make it look "just right"!

Noah is finally well over the colic, but is still barfing all the time. He's as happy as ever, but my laundry NEVER stops. He's not totally happy unless he goes through at least 5 or 6 outfits a day, and either his parents, or his teachers go through a few outfits themselves! He is still taking the prevacid for the reflux. Currently, he is desperately working on his first two teeth. He's really hoping (and so are we) that Santa decides to bring them for Christmas! The poor little guy just hasn't been able to catch a break. He's been up and down with a cold and fevers and just in flat out teething PAIN. It's so heartbreaking. We are keeping him filled with teething tablets, ibuprofen, and baby orajel - seems to do the trick - until it wears off! He's getting so big now, too. He finally started to sit on his own Thanksgiving day and is trying so hard to crawl. He will get up on all fours and rock back and forth; and then he will just flop back down on his belly and cry! Jayden likes to show him how to do it!

Marshall has been busy himself. He joined the Masonic Lodge and then the Orlando Scottish Rite, so he is now a 32nd degree Master Mason. He is also now working for a different department in his company, but still working on web development.

I have finally joined the local Eastern Star chapter as a dual member and am looking forward to participating in many Masonic activities again. It's been a long time and I miss it dearly. I am also back in the classroom teaching 5th grade and not happy about it at all. I am thankful to have a job, but miss teaching PE. I will be pursuing the fitness/nutrition field after this school year is over. I just can't deal with public school classroom politics anymore.

I promise to try and remember to come here and post more often!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year!
